tuesday, february 10th was tweet to save saint francis day.

All day Tuesday, February 10th, spporters "Tweeted" to Save St. Francis School. It was a huge success. THANK YOU for all who participated. Just because this day ended, please continue to send in "Tweets"
For those of you who don't have a Twitter account, it is very easy to set up. Just go to www.twitter.com Once you have an account, you click on the icon at the top to create a tweet.
Remember a tweet can only be 140 characters. You don't have to tweet the message to a specific person but you can. Below are some suggestions. Please feel free to Tweet more people/organizations The more people we tweet, (especially if everyone tweets something out) the more attention we will get. It is a way to use social media to let people know about us and the injustice we are fighting.
You can tweet up to 1000 tweets a day. Spread the word. Anyone can tweet for our school it doesn't have to just be someone from WNY.
Your tweet will end up looking something like this:
@BuffaloDiocese #savestfrancisschooltonawanda https://www.facebook.com/savestfrancisschool Help support the fight to keep our school open. Spread the word
You can copy and paste this into every tweet you send. You can add different wording, but please make sure you use the hashtag #savestfrancisschooltonawanda
You need a space between the twitter account you are sending and the tweet you are sending out.
We would like to direct the people to our Facebook page if possible. Here is a list of people to Tweet to but feel free to Tweet to more people or organizations. Think big. Tweet to anyone who has a Twitter account.
