Music Ministry
Dear Reader,
Welcome to the Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church Music Ministry web page. For thousands of years, the Catholic Church has generated, commissioned, and been the inspiration for countless musical works of art. Today's world needs the music of God.
At Saint Francis, we are committed to offering life-giving music at all of our musical liturgies. It is our prayer that those who hear our offering will feel the Spirit of God within and that they will be renewed, invigorated, and comforted. Just as all things within the Church glow with God's holy presence, so too should our music glow as it is consecrated to holy use by God through prayerful musicians. Church musicians should always seek to be humble and realize that they are instruments of our Lord. Forged in the fires of God and man united, real music is made.
On this earth we strive with all our skill to produce the finest music we can. Perhaps by this striving in love and friendship with one another, we may be blessed with glimpses of the celestial music of Heaven.
The gift of music is a treasure to be shared. The Music Ministry department at St. Francis offers a wide variety of musical experiences for parishioners of all ages. We are constantly welcoming new members to our choir for the 9:30 Mass. Whether you are interested in singing or are an instrumentalist of any kind, you can be sure that you will be joining people with whom you will share many wonderful moments of making music and lively fellowship.
If you are interested in joining, please fill out the Join the St. Francis Choir sign-up form by clicking the underlined link, and I will get in touch with you promptly.
May you be blessed and inspired to serve the Lord with gladness and come before His presence with the music of your soul.
Peace in Christ,
Robert A. Hull II
